Born from the DIY spirit in 1983, KNON 89.3 is Dallas community radio's "Voice of the People." With more than 100 volunteer DJs sharing music for the love of it, KNON brings local favorites, hidden gems, and great vibes to The Backyard between live sets.

Raised Right Men
Since 2014, Raised Right Men have been keeping classic country alive with a songbook packed full of honky-tonk favorites, heartfelt ballads, and timeless sing-alongs. Built on years of barroom gigs and live performances, their shows are all about good music, good company, and a dance floor that stays moving.

Jackie Don Loe
A respected guitarist, radio host, and longtime champion of the Dallas blues scene, Jackie Don Loe has spent more than three decades performing, mentoring musicians, and celebrating traditional Texas blues. Whether on stage or behind the mic hosting KNON NOW's Mojo Seed radio show, Jackie is a fixture of the North Texas music community.
Danny Banda & The Power Shakers
Dallas guitarist Danny Banda has been performing since his teens. Drawing from decades in the Texas blues scene, Banda spent five years performing alongside blues musician Dempsey Crenshaw, co-founded DFW blues-rock staple The Catdaddys, and later collaborated with DC & The Capitols. Alongside The Power Shakers, he brings the musicianship, emotion, and energy that make live blues unforgettable.
Mason Adams Project
Led by singer-songwriter Mason Adams, this North Texas favorite brings heartfelt storytelling and high-energy musicianship to every performance. Formed in 2017, the band has become a staple of the local music scene thanks to its relatable songs, dynamic performances, and Texas roots.
The Bnois King Band
The Bnois King Band is a powerhouse Texas blues outfit fronted by legendary guitarist Bnois King. Based in Dallas, the band delivers a smooth, soulful brand of electric blues that has made King a longtime favorite in the North Texas music scene.
For more than 25 years, King was one-half of the acclaimed blues duo Smokin' Joe Kubek & Bnois King, earning international recognition for his warm vocals, masterful guitar work, and distinctive style.
Bedlam Station
Bedlam Station is a North Texas band based in the DFW area, known for its nostalgic mix of 1990s country and old-time rock 'n' roll. With high-energy, danceable performances, the band pairs classic rock favorites with deep country twang, bluegrass-inspired harmonies, and plenty of crowd-pleasing sing-alongs.
