Press applications for DIY CON 2026 are now open!
WHO QUALIFIES
DIY CON welcomes press from around the world with complimentary press tickets. Applications are now open to journalists making regular editorial contributions.
Editorial press includes writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, and camera crews attending specifically to cover DIY CON for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, etc. We're consistently updating our safety policies to help support a safe experience. Read more here.
Non-editorial staff at media companies, such as graphic designers, marketing, public relations, and sales teams, don't qualify for Press tickets. If that's you, we'd still love to have you on-site – you can buy your tickets here.
PRESS TICKET ACCESS
Your DIY CON Press ticket gets you complimentary access into all three days of the event. Press tickets are extended as courtesy of DIY CON. You'll also have opportunities to attend Main Stage panels throughout the weekend, based on availability (first-come, first-served).
Here's what your press ticket DOES NOT allow:
- Early or special access into DIY CON
- Guaranteed seating at Main Stage panels or workshops
- The ability to skip lines
- Free entry to any experiences that require an extra ticket

GUIDELINES
- DIY CON is a community-first event, which means your ticket gets you into Main Stage panels and other events if space is available.
- Know what your ticket covers. A press ticket doesn't include early access, special access, guaranteed seating at panels and workshops, entry to events that need a separate ticket, or the ability to skip lines.
- Press tickets are issued to the approved applicant only. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold. Any individual found selling a Press ticket will be disqualified from attending future ReedPop events.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Press tickets are limited and cannot be issued to children, family members, or guests.
- Please read our press and media attendance terms and conditions. Everyone who applies and is approved for a DIY CON press ticket agrees to these terms.
